As the founder of Energy Rating Service, Inc. and Foam House Insulation, Inc., Matt combines decades of hands-on insulation experience with advanced building science to deliver practical, data-driven solutions for today’s high-performance homes.

Matt is a RESNET Certified HERS Rater specializing in HERS Ratings, Energy Modeling, blower door testing, duct leakage testing, ventilation verification, and comprehensive building envelope analysis. His work supports builders, architects, and homeowners throughout Long Island and the Hamptons in meeting New York Energy Code requirements while achieving superior comfort, efficiency, and long-term durability.

Unlike many consultants who spend most of their time behind a desk, Matt is in the field every week inspecting homes, performing diagnostic testing, and working directly with construction teams. This unique combination of technical expertise and real-world installation experience allows him to identify issues, recommend practical solutions, and verify that every system performs as intended.
